The Amorus Multi-function Throw claims to be made from “cotton material” sadly there is no label on the throw or any included literature that states the material content or care / cleaning instructions. The product listing does, however, state “Machine washable with cold water, avoid using of detergent with bleach ingredients”, if you do machine wash ensure to do so on a hand wash setting, however, given the construction of tassels on the edges I would be inclined to simply hand wash rather than machine wash.

During this review I make more than a few passing comparisons between the Sonorous VI’s and the Sonorous III’s which I reviewed a few months ago. I realise this is a less than ideal comparison given the difference in price points, but with the only other set I had to hand at the time of writing this review, was a pair of Beyerdynamic DT990 PRO’s so seemed a better comparative baseline than none at all for my claims, comments and opinions.

The 8 Ohm impendence means that no additional hardware is required to drive the Sonorous VI’s and they are as happy connected to a HiFi as they are a laptop, tablet or phone. That said and rather curiously the 16 Ohm Sonorous III’s are easier to drive on some mobile devices, most notably my Tab S2.

While the Sonorous III’s are an impressive set of cans there are notable chinks in its armour, specifically with tracks that encroach into the upper echelons of the high range such as Dido, White Flag and Quindon Tarver, Everybody’s Free, by comparison the VI’s frequency across the range is more competently and consistently handled.

For prolonged use, however the Sonorous III’s do have the edge on comfort, not just in the physical sense (due to the additional 70g of weight on the Sonorous VI’s) but also due to often bright highs with a range of tracks (the most common culprit being cymbals and snares) that can become fatiguing after an hour or so without a few minutes break.

There is no doubt that the Sonorous VI’s are expensive, they are however an investment and like a good quality hand made pair of leather brogues, they will last you a lifetime. Sure, they may need a new pair of soles from time to time (or rather pads) but the audio quality produced will if anything only get better with time.

The lack of a bundled carry case with the Sonorous VI’s is a little disappointing and will mean those seeking perfection on the go will need to make an additional outlay to protect their investment with the Final Audio Design Semi Hard Carrying Case.

PACKAGING & CONTENTS.

The WindTook Expandable Spinner Travel Suitcase is supplied double boxed with a WindTook branded internal cardboard box and a plain brown Amazon postage box on the outside.

The suitcase itself is supplied wrapped in a very thick clear plastic bag, with some additional cellular foam padding found exclusively on the extending handle. Two tags are found on the main handle one containing a little product and after sales information and the other illustrating some of the bags features.

 

Inside the bag are a couple of moisture absorbing silica gel sachets and a further small card detailing instructions for use of the built in security lock on the main compartment.

PACKAGING & CONTENTS.

The Tsing USB 3.0 External DVD RW Drive is supplied within cardboard retail style packaging that is wrapped in a grey courier style postage pouch. On the front of the box is a product image and on the back there is product information and instructions in both English and Chinese, although sadly there is little in the way of specifications for the actual DVD drive (a reason for which we shall get to shortly).

Inside the box the drive is wrapped in a clear plastic bag held in place on a clear chocolate box style plastic tray. Underneath the drive is a small instruction leaflet also in English and Chinese that sadly contains little more than what is found on the rear of the box.

There are no other accessories found within the box (the cable is hardwired to the caddy in case you are wondering), some may question why there is no emergency ejection tool and the reason is slightly complicated but again this will be answered shortly.

 

MEASUREMENTS.

The drive measures 15mm x 147mm x 147mm at its greatest points and weighs 302g (including the cable obviously). As previously noted the USB cable is hardwired to the caddy and is non removable or replaceable and protrudes by 20cm excluding the connector and connector jacket (and yes, the cable is far too short, but such is the price of convenience).

At the time my review was originally written the Vecelo Eames Style Chairs were being sold in pairs for £31.99 by VECELO on Amazon.co.uk. As of the 9th March 2017 the chairs are now being sold as a set of 4 chairs by Royal Lifetree on Amazon.co.uk at a cost of £73.99 with Free P&P. I suspect however that these are not Vecelo chairs and that Royal Lifetree are selling a similar chair and have simply piggy backed off the Vecelo listing. As such these chairs may differ to those in my review.

The Vecelo Eames Style DSW Eiffel Plastic Modern Dining Chair with Natural Wood Legs are however available individually on Ebay.co.uk at a cost of £23.99 each with free delivery, they are however black and not white.

PACKAGING & CONTENTS.

The VECELO Eames Style DSW Eiffel Plastic Retro Dining Chairs are both supplied in a single large square warehouse style corrugated cardboard box simply bearing an illustration of the chairs contained within.

 

Inside the white plastic seat sections of the chairs are located in the top of the box individually wrapped in clear plastic bags. Underneath separated by a single loose piece of corrugated cardboard are the two chair bases which are pre assembled (sort of).

 

The legs of each of the chair bases have been shrink wrapped in clear plastic and the upper part of each leg is also wrapped in cellular foam (but only the very top sections for some reason). Also attached to each chair is a resealable plastic bag (or in my case one was attached and the other was loose in the box) with each bag containing…

An Allen key, 4 bolts, 4 penny washers, 4 spring washers and a set of basic illustrated instructions.
